The Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA) is a non-profit association founded in 1979 to promote the private label industry. It is the only trade association of its kind, representing more than 4.500 member manufacturers from over 80 countries whose products include food, beverages, snacks, health and beauty, household and kitchen, DIY, and personal and leisure products. Some members only do private label. Others manufacture well-known brands but also have private label operations.
