Trade Shows

Trade shows are all about networking opportunities, sourcing products and finding new suppliers. To help retailers and wholesalers connect with private label manufacturers on a global scale, PLMA organises the World of Private Label International Trade Show in Amsterdam each May and the U.S. Private Label Trade Show in Chicago each November. Both shows are leaders in their category and offer complimentary participation to verifiable retailers and wholesalers.

Keeping up with the latest trends, solving industry-wide challenges, and helping retailers and wholesalers to network with manufacturers is the focus of PLMA’s annual conferences. PLMA’s Annual Private Label Summit in Europe is held in October and PLMA’s Annual Meeting & Leadership Conference in the U.S. is held in March. Executive Education

To help retailers, wholesalers and member manufacturers train and educate their management personnel, PLMA organises Executive Education Programmes on the campus of Nyenrode Business Universiteit in The Netherlands and with St. Joseph's University in the U.S. Classes combine interactive teaching with traditional lectures and case studies. Lunch & Learn Online Speaker Series

PLMA’s Lunch and Learn is designed for private label manufacturers, retailers and wholesalers, who want to expand their knowledge of the private label business. PLMA organises several sessions a year, each focusing on dedicated topics and trends.

Retailers and wholesalers have free access to exclusive market research data prepared by NielsenIQ for PLMA’s International Private Label Yearbook. The Yearbook contains market share data on more than 7.000 product categories in 17 European countries. Click here for more information.

Retailer Survey

PLMA International launches survey of retailers, member manufacturers to gain insights on European private label growth

PLMA International Council has launched an online survey of European member manufacturers and retailers.

Consisting of about 30 multi-part questions, the survey is available in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish and is being conducted for PLMA by Surveylab.

Topics include the relationship between manufacturers and retailers, the influence of today’s environmental and societal requirements on the supply chain, product innovation and development and factors contributing to the growth of private label throughout Europe.

PLMA International is seeking to collect insights that can help it improve the annual World of Private Label Trade Show and other programs and expand business opportunities for the entire private label industry.

A comprehensive report on the findings will be distributed in the fall.
