PLMA membership is all about sales and networking opportunities and professional growth; at trade shows, conferences, executive education and other programmes, in-person as well as online. Below is an overview of PLMA’s main events en programmes.
Trade Shows
To help member companies meet retailers on a global scale, PLMA organises the annual "World of Private Label" International Trade Show in Amsterdam each May and the annual U.S. Private Label Trade Show in Chicago each November. Both shows are leaders in their category and must-attend events for retail and wholesale buyers. PLMA member companies enjoy better exhibitor participation rates.
Conferences
Keeping up with the latest trends, solving industry-wide challenges, and helping member manufacturers to network with retailers and wholesalers is the focus of PLMA’s annual conferences. PLMA’s Annual Private Label Summit in Europe is held in October and PLMA’s Annual Meeting & Leadership Conference in the U.S. is held in March. PLMA member companies pay reduced participation fees.
Executive Education
To help members train and educate their management personnel, PLMA organises Executive Education Programmes in conjunction with Nyenrode Business Universiteit in The Netherlands and with St. Joseph's University in the U.S. Classes combine interactive teaching with traditional lectures and case studies. PLMA member companies are eligible for special participation and tuition fees.
Lunch & Learn Online Speaker Series
PLMA’s Online 'Lunch and Learn' is designed for private label manufacturers, retailers and wholesalers, who want to expand their knowledge of the private label business. PLMA organises several sessions a year, each focusing on dedicated topics and trends.

Private Label Yearbook
Members have free access to exclusive market research data prepared by NielsenIQ for PLMA’s International Private Label Yearbook. The Yearbook contains market share data on more than 7.000 product categories in 17 countries.
PLMA’s 2024 Industry Report
PLMA's new 2024 study -- "European Retailers & Manufacturers Talk About the Future: What will the private label landscape look like over the next five years?" -- focuses on the factors contributing to the growth of private label thoughout Europe; the evolving relationship between manufacturers and retails; and the state of the product innovation and development, among other topics.
The report contains the results of a survey PLMA conducted earlier this year among 1,017 private label executives from 865 companies across 37 countries, including 863 manufacturers and 154 retailers.
