Below you will find an overview of questions most commonly asked by visitors.

 

When is the show held?
The show is held on Tuesday 23 and Wednesday 24 May. Pre-show seminars will be held on Monday 22 May, click here for the programme.
Where is the show held? How do I get there?
The show is held at the RAI Exhibition Centre in Amsterdam, located 15 minutes from Schiphol International Airport and easily reached by taxi, train, metro and car. Click here for details.
  • From Schiphol Airport:
    Direct: Take the train to ‘Station Amsterdam RAI’, which is at a 5-minute walk from the RAI Exhibition Centre.
    One change: Take the train to ‘Station Amsterdam Zuid’ and transfer to Metro Line 52 (direction ‘Noord’) exiting right in front of the RAI Exhibition Centre on ‘Station Europaplein’.
  • From Central Station:
    Metro line 52 (direction ‘Zuid’) runs every 4-6 minutes and will take you from ‘Station Amsterdam Centraal’ in just eight minutes to ‘Station Europaplein’, right in front of the RAI Exhibition Centre.

All train tickets can be purchased at the vending machines or at the NS Service (& Tickets) information desks at Schiphol Airport and at the train stations (more info on www.ns.nl). Metro tickets can be purchased at the vending machines at the metro stations (more info on www.gvb.nl and in the GVB app).

Where can I park my car during show days and how much is the parking rate?
Please follow the signs from the A10 Amsterdam Ring. Depending on parking space availability, you will be directed to RAI parking P1-2-3 (vertical clearance 1.90 m), P4 (vertical clearance 2.70 m) or to external RAI parking sites that all have a direct and complimentary shuttle service to and from the RAI Exhibition Centre. Electric cars: There are 20 charging points for electric cars. Charging points cannot be reserved. Click here for details.

During show days, RAI’s onsite parking fee amounts to € 5.50 per hour with a maximum of € 32.00 per day. Click here for more information. Please note that during high-traffic events like the "World of Private Label", RAI parking tickets cannot be reserved in advance. It is recommended to use public transport as much as possible.

How many exhibitors will there be?
There are 2.650 exhibiting companies from 72 countries, including nearly 60 national and regional pavilions, of which more than 1.900 food exhibitors and more than 700 non-food exhibitors. What products are presented at the show?
The show floor is divided into 8 food and 5 non-food halls. Products on display include:
  • Food: fresh, frozen and refrigerated foods, dry grocery, and beverages.
  • Non-Food:cosmetics, health and beauty, household and kitchen, auto aftercare, garden, and housewares & DIY

How many visitors will there be?
More than 15.000 trade visitors from over 120 countries are expected this year.
How do I register for an entrance badge? Can I register at the show?
Online preregistration is required, there is no on-site registration. To register, please click here.
Is there a visitor registration fee? How much is it?
Registration of verified full-time employees of companies classified to fit within PLMA’s retail/wholesale category is complimentary. Manufacturers, distributors, trade suppliers, brokers, sales agents, consultants and other suppliers of goods or services are subject to the following registration fee schedule*:
  • Until 14 May: Early-bird registration fee = Euro 200*
  • 15-21 May: Standard registration fee = Euro 240*
  • 22-24 May: Late-bird registration fee = Euro 280*

* Amounts include 21% Dutch VAT, a copy of the printed Visitor Guide and access to PLMA's online Show Navigator; all badges are valid for both show days and for the pre-show seminars. The classification of visitors is solely within the discretion of PLMA and in the event of any dispute, the decision of PLMA is controlling. A personal business card is required for badge pick-up at the show.

I received an invitation link from an exhibitor. What do I need to do??
Exhibitor Guest Invitation links entitle the registrant to a free entrance badge for both show days if registration is completed by 10 May at the latest. Exhibitor Guest Invitation links completed after 10 May will provide a 50% discount on the visitor registration fees listed above.
I wish to cancel my visitor registration. How do I proceed?
Visitor registrations cannot be cancelled and visitor registration fees are non-refundable.
How do I get access to the exhibitor list?
All registered visitors receive access to PLMA’s online Show Navigator as of 30 days prior to the show. To explore the number of exhibitors in a specific category or country, please click here.
Where can I pick up a copy of PLMA’s Visitor Guide and what information does it contain?
PLMA’s new printed Visitor Guide is available at no cost to all attendees and can be collected from their distribution points in the 4 main entrances of the show (RAI Entrances C, F, K and L). The Visitor Guide holds general show information, a full alphabetical exhibitor list, as well as an exhibitor list for each of the 8 Food and 5 Non-Food halls. In addition, each hall list contains a QR code to access the online Show Navigator that allows for dynamic and multi-variable searches, plus QR codes to download the full list of exhibitors by product category and by country (PDF).
Does the RAI Exhibition Centre have Wifi?
RAI Wifi can be ordered onsite by connecting to RAI Premium Wifi, at a cost of at Euro 11.00 excluding VAT per device per day.
Are lockers or cloakrooms available?
A limited number of lockers is available in Entrances C and K but small personal items may also be stored for a daily fee in the RAI cloakrooms in Entrances C, F, K and L. To minimise queuing at the cloakrooms, RAI strongly recommends that guests arriving by car leave their coats in the trunk.
Is the RAI Exhibition Centre wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the RAI Exhibition Centre is accessible for persons of reduced mobility. Wheelchair assistants are permitted to enter the show for free.
Is the “World of Private Label” open to consumers? Is there a minimum age?
PLMA's "World of Private Label" International Trade Show is open to trade professionals only. Children under the age of 16 are not allowed on the show floor.
Can I bring my pet?
Animals are prohibited except for guide dogs and companion dogs for attendees with a disability.
When do I receive an invoice for my registration fee?
You will receive an invoice by email within 30 days from the payment date.
